Congratulations to Marc Schuck (Humorous Speech Club Contest Winner), Matthew Setter (Table Topics Club Contest Winner) and all those who competed in the Nuremberg Toastmasters Fall Club Contest 2015. The Club Contest was once again exceptionally well organized with a special thanks going to our Chief Judge – Karsten Brach and Contest Chair – Tobias Haeuser.
All the contestants in the Humorous Speech Contest delivered extraordinary speeches, which definitely made the audience laugh. The speeches were all perfectly crafted and incorporated many rhetorical devices such as good use of body language, vocal variety and changes in pace. They were concise with original speech topics and material and included many unexpected twists and turns keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.

In the Table Topics Club Contest the question was: “Deliver a speech with or about Micky Mouse.” All of the contestants perfectly mastered the challenge and gave entertaining impromptu speeches.

Thank you to all Nuremberg Toastmaster members who covered functionary roles (judges, timers, ballot counters, sergeant at arms). You all did an excellent job and the contest would not have been a success without you.
Winners are grinners!! And after the contest was done and dusted, some of our Nuremberg Toastmaster club members got together at the Marientorzwinger for a beverage or two.
