On Monday March 16th our Club Evaluation Contest took place. It was an admirable competition and every contestant showed courage and took part. The contest was divided into two sections namely an Evaluation contest and an International speech contest.
There’s always competition out there. That’s what makes life exciting –> Carolyn Murphy
Yes, competition and contests make our Toastmasters life exciting. For that reason, speech contests are an important part of the Toastmasters educational program. That provides an opportunity for Toastmasters to gain speaking experience in a competitive environment, to gain insights into succeeding and into how it feels like if we miss our Goals.
But, always keep in mind.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that Counts –> Winston Churchill
